Object-oriented method-.         distributed computation-. product data management(PDM) and system integration,         enterprises have set higher goals for the CAPP and demand it to build         product-oriented designing idea. Furthermore, enterprises require the CAPP to         integrate with other related systems (CAD.. CAM.. PDM, etc) and all these will make         the CAPP system advance with more concurrency.. integration and intelligence.            Firstly, according to the developing trend of the CAPP, the paper analyzes, in         detail, the theory and key techniques used in the design of the CAPP system. Then         aiming at the process planning of the general parts and considering the common         problems existing in CAPP systems, the paper introduces the function and system         structure of the CAPP system based on PDM. Among these, the author emphasizes         the system抯 advantage on data management and sharing ---- the establishment of the         process data management system based on the network. Then, the paper explains the         information input module.. feature machining-chain inference module and process         planning module in particular.            Process-card is the main output form of the process planning and in order to         adapt to the various card formats in different plants, the author develops the process-         card-editing tool to offer the function of editing the cards in random formats. Finally,         the author discussed the idea of system integration between CAPP and PDM and the         management of process flow based on the PDM. |
