Graphics Rendering Software Image Processing Technology Research And Implementation

With the improvement of computer science, computer graphics rendering techniques are widely applied to many fields. Image post-processing is an important part of rendering software. Different users may have different requirements for image format, and rendered images may be adjusted in contrast, tone, etc. Some huge images need real-time panning and zooming.This project is a part of the rendering.software developing program for China Academy of Building Research. We designed the mainframe of the software, researched six kinds of image format, analyzed their transformation, and studied the problem of image compression.In this thesis, different image formats are discussed, and a data structure for transforming them is built. In addition, image panning, scaling, brightness adjustment and other algorithms are studied. The algorithms cost much less memory than common used method. A function library is designed for image reading, writing, scaling and adjustment. The library is implemented and applied to the rendering software system.
