Based on the research of the quality of low-light-level images, this paper analyzes such problems as loud noises, unclear images in the formation of low-light-level images, design an embedded high-speed DSP (Digital Signal Processing) system to process the low-light-level image. This paper mainly solves several key techniques in image processing system, including DSP, FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and MCU. Among these techniques, DSP is the core of image processing system. DSP has such functions as high-speed real-time processing, mass data exchange control. This paper first designs a peripheral circuit of mini DSP system as well as system software of DSP. Next, the paper the application of FPGA in the image processing system, which mainly realizes the configuration of FPGA. Finally, this paper analyzes the controlling function of MCU in the image processing system, and designs an overall solution to MCU application software.In the image processing system, DSP, FPGA and MCU are both inter-related and independent. This paper mainly seeks to solve such techniques in the image processing system, and at the same time highlights such characteristics of image processing system as high-speed real-time processing, mass data exchange controlling, small size, convenient interface, and being easy to debug.
