Lasar And Boundary Scan-based Fault Diagnosis System Design

When a fault diagnosis system is to be built , software modules , whose function are generation of test vectors , establishing of fault dictionary ,diagnosis analysis , etc ,are required not only , hardware platform ,such as control system , boards under test , etc , are necessary but also . It has shown it is a very complicated and difficult task to set up a fault diagnosis system . LASAR is a test program standard from USA National Defence/Spaceflight ,its main function concentrates on testability analysis and developing of expert system for fault diagnosis , etc . Boundary scan technique is a novel test methodology for circuits boards . In virtue of test approach provided by boundary scan , in which component function , interconnection and interaction can be tested , circuits test and fault diagnosis can be finished without the aid of needle-bed and other additional hardware . Designing on fault diagnosis system based on LASAR and boundary scan is completed by combining LASAR and boundary scan technique . Using test vectors generated by LASAR , fault diagnosis dictionary ,testability property for boundary scan , fault diagnosis system is realized .Software section of this system is based on C# language , hardware section is based on 4 channels boundary scan test controller designed by author , it is distinct from other version in market .Boards under test is composed of devices with boundary scan architectures.Chapter one introduces the background and significance about the paper .Chapter two introduces LASAR and the developing details .Chapter three introduces boundary scan test and discusses the project of PCI-1149.1 four channels boundary-scan controller.Chapter four introduces the designing of PCI-1149.1 four channels boundary-scan controller .Chapter five discusses the construction of the fault diagnosis data and the design of fault diagnosis software.
