| Today, EDA(Electronic Design Automatic) technology has became a familiar method of exploitation of electronic digital system, and the FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) technology is a key technology to make progress in the design method of electronic digital system. Compared with conventional method, the FPGA can solve the problem leaded by system's miniaturization and limit of power dissipation, also, FPGA avoids the initial cost, lengthy development cycles, and inherent risk of conventional ASIC(Application-specific Integrated Circuit).This paper introduces the FPGA's application on the design of CCP( communication control processor ),Research works and the major contributions in this dissertation are as follows:1 .Program FPGA chips to act as several modules, including the module of programmable peripheral interface adapter, the module of programmable communications interface and the module of chip-selected. The simulation and synthesize of the source program show our design is right. At last we select the proper device for the experimentation.2.Finish the test software, make use of the Intel corp.'s high-level language pl/m96, write the test software for the 80C196KB.3.Introduce the hardware design of FPGA test board, completes the schematics and PCB design through the EDA software, and completes the hardware debugging and jointly debugging of the whole system.4.Analyze the application of the FPGA technology in the design of electronic digital system, put forward the system of "PLD+CPU" is a better choice . |
