| Object segmentation of video sequence is an important research subject in the field of image processing and computer vision. The accuracy of segmentation directly affects the success of the whole image process or computer vision project. But segmentation is one of the most difficult parts. Although many researchers work in this field for many years, there is not any satisfying algorithm can process all sequence. This paper provides one kind of panorama based algorithm which works well on the sequence with clear background movement. And this algorithm is also a temporal - spatial method which contains many fields of computer vision, such as color image segmentation, camera model, features matching, block matching, panorama extraction and moving object extraction. In the spatial domain the mean shift algorithm is used to segment each frame of sequence. In the temporal domain, a panorama based object extraction algorithm is proposed. A simulation research about this algorithm is carried out. The results illustrate that the algorithm presented is feasible and valid. |
