As a novel technique in information security, digital watermarking rises inrecent years. It can be extensively used in multimedia copyright protection,medical image authority. It is so slow to implementation the image digitalwatermarking system with software that can't satisfy the real-time processingrequirement. In order to improve the processing speed we use hardware toimplement the image digital watermarking algorithm. In this paper, we design andimplement the image digital watermarking scheme based on FPGA platform. It canimprove the speed of embedding and extract image digital watermarking.The major content of this paper is consisted of:1) Researching the implementation of discrete wavelet transform based on FPGA. The discrete wavelet transform is the key algorithm of the digital watermarking scheme. The time of discrete wavelet transform determine the time of the digital watermarking scheme, so we firstly analysis the discrete wavelet transform, and find out the range of wavelet coefficients. Then we design discrete wavelet transform using VHDL and simulate the design.2) Researching the implementation of digital watermarking scheme based on FPGA. We design and implement the digital watermarking scheme with a mixed chaotic sequence. Combined with the design of discrete wavelet transform, we implement the image digital watermarking.
