| With China joining WTO and the development of economic globalization, the manufacturing industry of China will be faced with more fierce market competition. It has been playing an increasing important role in automatic business processes in enterprises, and adopting advanced Enterprise Resource Planning (abbr. ERP) has been a crucial way for the survival and development of enterprises.In this paper, an overview is firstly presented about the concept, current applying situations and development phases of ERP. Then the design and implementation of ERP system for the area of industrial sewing machines are studied in detail, based on the solution scheme of the ERP system of Taizhou Gem sewing machine Co., Ltd. This system is based on Client/Server (abbr. C/S) mode, including many functional submodules such as manufacturing management, sales management, purchasing management, quality management, storage management, finance management, human resource management and technical management, and so on.In this paper, the requirement of the system is analyzed, the design scheme is put forward, the system structure and functional submodules are studied, and the implementation skills are illustrated. At the end of the dissertation, the main contents are summarized and the future work is addressed. |
