| With the development of the computer technique and the multimedia technique, digital image processing has already been widely used in such fields as communication, biomedicine, monitor and control, remote sensing telemetering measurement, spaceflight aviation, military and information safety etc. In these systems of digital image processing, a question is put forward on how to process a large amout of image data. We can not get the satisfied effect by only use the special Video ASIC, the special Video DSP or the general high performance DSP, especially, in the fields which need high resolution and high refresh rate. Therefore, the research of the high-resolution and real-time image acquisition and processing system becomes more and more important.The main task of our project is to design a high-resolution and real-time image acquisition and processing system which can process the high images timely The FPGA chip is the main controller and the main processor of the system based on PCI bus.The thesis presents the system scheme of the high-resolution and real-time image acquisition and processing system firstly. Then it gives the design plan in detail. The most important part of the thesis is the introduction of the logic design of the system based on FPGA. And, the thesis mainly presents the research on the key technique of the dataflow control, including the realization of the PCI interface control, the control of the SRAM memory that read or written by FPGA, the pretreatment and the output control of the image and the intercommunication between PC and FPGA. And then, it presents the design and the realization of the PC application program. In the end, it presents the debugging stepps and the application of the system.. |
