A large long-distance waterworks webmaster stakeout management system developed using modern communication technology is given. Its technical design thinking and its practical plan based on GPRS/CDMA technology to accomplish long-distance industrial stakeout management are advanced. It is discussed to use SCADA-HMI to collected computers, communications (wire and wireless), automatic control, WEB, database to reach the unified control and management of all kinds of the electrical installations to reduce the maintenance charge of the whole system, to improve its movement efficiency and to meet the variety and flexibility of the control method.The data acquisition method, geographical information system, the technical design and electrical installation choice of software and hardware used in the system are in detail described and analyzed technically and theoretically. The optimizing contrast and analysis of the development tools in the system is suggested. The difficult problems in the system: Maplnfo control, data grouping and etc, are given solution.In the end, the system working and the economic investment benefit are analyzed.
