Design And Realization Of The Digital Home Environment, Embedded Web Server

As the Information Technology develops rapidly and modern society enters into Network times, the Internet has already become important information infrastructure. The development of Internet technology has taken changes to remote control and management manners of embedded equipment. Now information transmission does not need special link of communication any longer and what's more, its communication protocols are standard and open. Now Web is one of the most widely used services. The Web browser is a reasonable choice as User Interface. Technically speaking, the browser is the Web client while the embedded system will be the server. Therefore it has become the development and study direction of embedded Web server that how to design and install such special Web server.In the premise, this paper integrate the digital home environment, embedded system and Web server, firstly it brings forward the architecture of the embedded Web server. Secondly, it studies the technical design of constructing embedded Web server, that is to say how to set up a Web server based on XSBase270 platforms under the embedded Linux Operating System. Finally, taking the imitated air-condition controller as an example, it establishes a monitor system of domestic appliances based on the embedded Web server. With this monitor system we can realize remote-monitoring and controlling of domestic appliances, that is to say users will monitor and control such appliances through client browsers or graphical User Interface in embedded Web server easily.
