The advantages of USB interface are high speed and steady transmission, real plug and play and low power consumption. Because of its flexibility, USB interface obtains wide applications. But the complexity of USB2.0 protocol brings us difficulty at the same time when develop. This article gives a design of high-speed real-time data recording, playback unit based on EZ-USB FX2LP , which conforms to industrial standard USB2.0 specification.Because this article belongs to USB peripheral developing, the dissertation first described the contents of the USB2.0 protocol that developer care, next, design proposal including hardware and software was presented step by step. The hardware design is the key difficulty.The hardware designs include: main components introduction, schematic circuit diagram, principle and design of high-speed PCB and hardware debugging, firmware designs, SDR ADRAM controller and asynchronous FIFO controller design. The software design includes the application software program. Finally an overall system debugging result is presented.The practice shows that this design works stably and reliably with good portability. It will have a wide application in high-speed real-time data transmission system.
