The integrated technology of the avionics is a necessity of the development of airplane design, and the airborne data bus is one of the key technologies of avionics intergrated system which performance plays an indispensable role. 1553B bus is a ascertainable and reliable data bus, and it possesses the prominent features such as the high reliability, real time, flexibility and ripe technology, that make it become the first choice of avionics bus now.In the design of avionics integrated system, using CAD and computer emulation can improve the efficiency and quality of sysytem design. Designers can make a quantitative evaluation to system topology and function allocation, thereby optimized design can be achieved. So the development of emulation software of avionics integrated system is very useful and significant.The dissertation carefully analyzes the 1553B bus system structure and communication protocol, and utilizes the emulation software OPNET to establish a representative 1553B bus system emulation model in a project. The dissertation emulated and evaluated the bus system to validate the system design. The bus loading and efficiency of bus and rate of average delay time which indicate the performance of bus system are obtained ,which can guide & correct the bus system design.
