The 1553B avionics bus is a high-reliability and good real-time multi-channel databus. It has been widely used in avionics systems. The key device of the 1553B avionicsbus system is bus interface chip, which is mainly relied on imports now. And thesespecial interface chips are very expensive. Therefore, the study of 1553B avionics businterface circuit is of great significance.Based on the 1553B avionics bus protocol, the FPGA-based avionics bus interfacecircuit is designed to connect the embedded aviation route controller, which is based onthe RS-422 serial bus technology, with the avionics bus. The interface circuit implementsthe data transmission between 1553B avionics bus and RS-422 serial bus.This thesis introduces the basic principles of 1553B avionics bus protocol, andbriefly describes the general principles and methods of the FPGA design, and particularlyexplains the realization of the avionics system interface board, including the systemoverall programming, the development of data conversion agreements, software designand hardware design and so on.The avionics interface board system uses the FPGA, which the price of is low,instead of the special 1553B bus interface chip, thereby the cost of the system is reduced.In addition, the system uses hardware description language programming to implementthe logic function of the hardware. It simplifies the circuit design. Furthermore, itimproves the system integration and flexibility.The results of the system simulation show that FPGA-based avionics bus system isable to achieve the data conversion between 1553B avionics bus and RS-422 serial busvery well.
