As the main pattern to raise skilled workers of our country,the higher vocational education undertakes the responsibility of transporting staff and the inferior superintendents to the enterprise.At Present the quality of the teaching can't adapt to the construction of economy and the need of the society's development.With the efforts of the scholars and experts all over the world,PBL which depending on the constructionist and multi-intelligence theory has formed a consummate system.The author tries to.apply this theory to higher vocational education teaching and injects the new thinking,means and technique of modern education into teaching,build an open,and innovative teaching model.The research is separated into four Phases;literature research,theory study,action research and evaluation analysis.Research starts from actual problems faced by teaching of computer professional lessons in higher vocational education,analyzes the application of PBL in higher vocational education computer professional courses.Literature research, dianoses and inspection are used in this thesis.Based on the theory research,it takes the《Computer Network》course as an example to verify and modify the teaching model which is brought forward in the phase of theoretical hypothesis.There are six chapters in this thesis.In Chapter One,the thesis illuminates brings forward the content,the program and the method of the research,analyzes the significance of this research.In Chapter Two,the thesis discusses the connotation, characteristics and essentials at first.Then,the thesis tires the process of PBL,discourses at great length on the academic base of it.The thesis analyzes the predominance of PBL in the application of computer professional courses.Chapter Three is the design of teaching process.The thesis discusses the principles of designing the teaching process,analyzes the inchoate design.It illuminates the design of education evaluation detailedly.At last,it uses an actual example to explain the steps of carrying PBL.Chapter Four is the experimentation. With the outcome of the final examinations,the final analysis was made with quantitive and identified methods,then obtains the conclusions of the research.In Chapter Five,the thesis illuminates some affairs in PBL teaching process including the principles of designing projects,the teachers'roles and mission,the learning scaffold.In the last chapter,the thesis summarizes the results of this research,analyzes the limitation It presents existing problems and the direction of further research at last.With the datum collected in the process,the results show that:The application of PBL in higher vocational education teaching was a success.The students'ability of practicing, analyzing,exploring,resolving the problem are improved clearly by the use of PBL.Their skills and initiative of collecting information,communicating with others,managing projects,career ability and team spirit and evaluating themselves are enhanced.
