Since the early 1960s,remote sensing technology has been put forward. After that, it is being developed rapidly. Its development trends can be summed up as: high spatial resolution, high-aging, high spectral resolution, comprehensive utilization of a variety of remote sensing data. With the development of remote sensing, real-time display of remote sensing images becomes an important way of remote sensing observation.Real-time receiving and display remote sensing image is an important means of obtaining remote sensing information,especially for disaster observation, and military investigation. And it is useful for monitoring of the quality of satellite data reception.This thesis addresses the demand above,and real-time multi-mode display technology of remote sensing images is researched. In the Windows environment, a method for high-speed network data receiving through Gigabit united with real-time, stable, high-speed image display at the same time is proposed. And finally in a remote sensing satellite quick-look system, the real-time remote sensing image of receiver and display terminal software is implemented. The main contents of the thesis are as follows:In the first chapter of the thesis, the development of remote sensing techniques is outlined, an analysis of remote sensing images development trend is showed, include: high-resolution wide-breadth and so on. So the demand for real-time display of remote sensing: high-resolution, wide, real-time is put forward. And at last, the general structure and innovations of the article is summed up.The second chapter describes the hardware and software components of remote sensing quick-look system, which is the real-time receiver and display software operated on. The quick-look system is composed with a hardware processor and display terminal. Display terminal is constructed of graphics workstation which is based on Wintel structure and Windows operating system is installed. Remote sensing imagery and display software runs on it. The article discusses in detail the requirements of the software design for display terminal, including: control systems, image display, network operations. And the soft development environment is given. In third chapter, the key technologies of real-time, multi-mode display of remote sensing are researched, and the corresponding solutions are given, including the basic principles and specific methods. The key technologies are as follows: based on the Windows of Winsock interface, network transmission is affected. Real-time multi-mode and multi-screen display is realized by DirectDraw technology, especially adopting synchronized refresh control strategy to realize multi-channel CCD asynchronous image display. Multithreaded FIFO control mechanisms is designed depending on the multi-threading and thread synchronization technology. The software interface of embedded real-time processing system and windows non-real-time system is implementation by that.In fourth chapter the use of the software and modular object-oriented design method are discussed. And quick-look terminal software modular structure is presented, main modules include: communications network design, multi-mode display type, multi-mode control categories, based on the design principle describe in Chapter III, the detailed design of each category is given.
