| New generation video compression standard H.264/AVC, which had a profound effect on the storage and transmission of video mobile communication,stream media and high definition television, was proposed formally at the end of 2004. But the huge complexity of computation restricts its applied range. Some key technologies of H.264 coding system were researched in this paper to overcome partially these shortcomings as fas as possible .Major achievements of work were listed as follows:(1) Aiming at ineffectiveness of motion search of preview algorithms of the H.264/AVC,this paper used a fast motion search method based on temporal and spacial telationship, and experimental result showed that a better coding efficiency was obtained;(2) Aiming at ineffectiveness of inter prediction mode decision algorithmic of preview algorithm , a inter-prediction mode decision algorithmic based on the combination of symmetrical area , zero vector and block merging method was used. The experimental results showed that the algorithm was able to achieve a reduction of approximately 30%-50% encodeing time of the current frame to the video sequence of transform rapidly and encoding the performance influence to below. But to slow the video sequence of scene transformation the encoder was able to achieve by reduction by approximately 50%-70% encoding time of the current frame, simultaneously the performance influence of the coder really is negligible.(3) This paper also carried out the analysis of the multi-reference frame technology, and the research had discovered that the multi-reference frame to coded the performance promotion differently to have a difference along with the video sequence characteristic. Regarding the movement background slow change's sequence, the multi-reference frame technology to enhance much to the performance is limited, moreover the performance enhances the important source in the first reference frame; But regarding the rapid change's sequence of movement background, using the multi-reference frame technology influence to be obvious regarding to code the performance. Therefore regarding the request timeliness, the movement background slow change's application, 1 reference frame is the best choice; But to video sequence of its picture quality requirement high and the timeliness request not to be high, and may use 5-10 reference frames to encode.At last, the paper has gotten a minimum coding system through the simplification and the optimized reference to the JM source code, promoted greatly by little performance loss received in exchange for code speed. |
