The phenomenon of Start-ups is becoming a mainstream of society, as an important factor to promote economic growth. It is an effective way to solve problems happened in the current employment market. However, male and female who are in the similar environment show different entrepreneurial performance in China. The study builds up the framework of variables on entrepreneurship and analyzes from the view of gender difference. It makes contributes to the literature in entrepreneurship area and provides guidance to entrepreneurship development in the reality.The following work of this article has been done that:(1) based on the review of present thesis investigating entrepreneurship from various views, the meaning of entrepreneurship is defined; (2) different dimensions of variables are studied including the individual, entrepreneurial resource, perception and social value, which build the research framework; (3) based on the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) public questionnaire data, cross-table and binary logistic regression are used to examine the impact of variables on different gender’s entrepreneurship.The study finds that:(1)build up the framework of four dimensions including individual, entrepreneurial resource, perception and social value; (2)age, opportunity identification, human capital, social capital, and household income are the same variables which influence entrepreneurship of both male and female while there are some difference in variables on individual entrepreneurship-male’s entrepreneurship is affected by education and start-up occupation significantly and women are more sensitive to risk aversion; (3) we suggest that encourage middle-aged individual to enterprise, build entrepreneurial network and improve the security system.
