Research On The Optimization Of Performance Evaluation System Of Middle - Level Management Personnel In China

This paper conducted a comprehensive study of the performance assessment system. To take China Insurance Bayannur Company as a research object, after interviews and questionnaires, the author found that the middle managers didn’t satisfy with the performance assessment system and considered the system is not scientific and reasonable, which are caused by the reasons that the system and indicators of performance assessment is imperfect, lacking of targets, method of one-sided and so on. Faced with status of performance assessment in the company, this paper optimized the performance assessment system of middle managers, from building the development strategy of the company to analyzing the positions, to KPI extraction, weights determining, standard setup, and plan optimization. This paper adopted the SWOT method, Key Performance Indication, Analytic Hierarchy Process,360-Degree Assessment method. Then this paper designed the performance assessment system of middle managers of China Insurance Bayannur Company, including the targets, indicators, standards, subjects, and time of the performance assessment system. Finally, in order to guarantee optimized performance assessment system of middle managers smooth implement, this paper elaborated supporting measures of the assessment system in three areas, including improving understanding, strengthening the training, tracking the entire process. The author hopes this study can build a better performance assessment system of middle managers for China Insurance Bayannur Company to improve middle managers’ work initiative and creativity, to play its role as the backbone, to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.
