This paper begins with the basic definition, content and characteristics of the retail business of commercial banks, and expounds the research methods and research purposes of the development of retail business in commercial banks. Through the analysis of the development of domestic commercial banks’ retail business, the status quo and existing problems of J retail business development are analyzed, and the advantages and disadvantages of J bank’s retail business development are analyzed by means of environmental analysis and SWOT analysis. Finally identified the establishment of a sound mechanism system, with the times, focus on channel construction, increase team building, focus on innovation and development, increase the intensity of technological research and development, strengthening the risk supervision, the overall development strategy of retail business. Through the research on the development strategy of J bank, the future development of J bank is provided.
