The application and development of the ERP system has in recent years become the popular managing mode for the Chinese even the global enterprises. It does not only relate the product supply, storage and logistics information of the enterprises, but hrough a powerful information sharing capabilities, it try to realize the unification and synthetic management of the information in relation with enterprise financial,human resource and sales businesses. Toward the modern enterprises, it would be a revolutionary change on the managing policies and modes. The Chinese enterprises are always fell behind the international market steps, here, for the first time, have found a managing tool that can be used in the whole world. As China enters the WTO, the competition among enterprises are no longer product quality and product cost. To face the competition of global enterprise, Chinese enterprises must adopt advanced managing methods.ERP(Enterprise resource planning) can help them to regulate the managing policies, elevate the managing quality, it is an important means to promote the process of enterprise information establishment, it is also the representative of the advancement of the managing and operative technologies of enterprises in the world.ERP system is a kind of system project which costs much, with high risk and difficulty. To see from the whole world, the failing rate has reached more than 70%, about 50% of them failed in the half way. It has been more than 20 years for Chinese enterprises from the MRP II to the ERP application. Up to now, there have about 1000 enterprises which have already used ERP, but the actual successful examples only take the proportion of 10%.So the ERP risk issues, which has become a very important element that cause the failure of the ERP projects in enterprises. For our enterprises, it is urgently needed to adopt systematic ERP risk managing techniques and tools to enhance their liability in using the ERP system. So, the research in this paper meets the benefit of the enterprises in China, it’s also the problem that urgently needs to be solved for our enterprises.This paper combines theories and the cases together, then to make the analysis and research more vivid and detailed. Otherwise, the methods combines qualitative and quantitative together have been used in this paper, and the quantitative method is the analytic hierarchy process (AHP)。Starting from the implementation process of ERP, make a full analysis of the problem, and then put forward the corresponding solution to the problem of methods and ideas as well as Countermeasures.The paper is to point to the phenomenon that the successful rate to realize the ERP project in domestic enterprises isn’t so high, thus to bring in the principle of managing and control risks to analyze the ERP process in detail. It summarized the main risks in each stage, and finally give relative risk managing and disposing methods, which will give confidence to the domestic enterprises. Finally, the combination of the actual situation of the most typical manufacturing enterprises, make good combinate with Theory and Practice, help enterprises to improve management, enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.
