With the continuous economic and social development, China’s electricityconsumption has shown rapid growth trend, in order to ease the power shortage situation,need to continue efforts to increase investment and construction of power projects to meetthe growing demand for electricity. In a lot of power project construction and operationprocess, risk is everywhere, risk management and therefore become more important, thesuccess of the project has gradually become "winning hand." Substation renovationprojects are capital-intensive, technically demanding, high security risk characteristics.Therefore, the power transformation project risk management has its own unique way.From the study of electrical engineering project risk management situation to start,in-depth analysis of the measures related to risk management. Different risks in theconstruction of power projects that exist for the various stages, conducted intensiveresearch and analysis. A combination of risk management status renovation projectsubstations, power projects elaborated the theory of risk identification, evaluation andcontrol, and make full use of the theory to practical solutions to the risk management Asubstation renovation project. Focuses on the risk analysis, evaluation and control, theintroduction of risk-based workflow management system, simple and clear, convenient andpractical solution to the "the actual operation is inconvenient," the issue of riskmanagement and improve the efficiency of risk management, to the good results, andaccumulated valuable experience.
