Along with in the 90 s of the 20 th century pioneering spirit of entrepreneur theory, research on entrepreneurship and innovation spirit gradually showing a "blowout" situation, and the role of entrepreneurship on economic growth attracts more and more attention of scholars at home and abroad.In this paper, based on the development of the domestic entrepreneurial spirit, through the empirical analysis of the impact of entrepreneurship on economic growth in Yunnan province. First of all, the domestic research results, a comprehensive understanding and grasp the spirit of entrepreneurship and economic development theory, determine the measure of entrepreneurship, innovation and Entrepreneurship from the quantitative point of view to find a meeting point. At the same time, the theory of economic development and entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship will introduce endogenous economic growth model, thus the theoretical foundation of empirical analysis then, in the basis of understanding; previous studies of entrepreneurship measurement methods, as comprehensively as possible from the macro level analysis of the entrepreneurial spirit, the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation in two aspects to show the full spirit of entrepreneurship, specific metrics to accurately grasp the spirit of entrepreneurship, find out as much as possible to improve the index system to measure the entrepreneurial spirit; then, according to the actual characteristics of Yunnan province and city of entrepreneurship and the available data Condition, Yunnan Province entrepreneurship on economic growth an empirical analysis of the effect of, by way of classification after the overall, from these two aspects of innovation and entrepreneurship perspective and analysis measure the entrepreneurial spirit of the impact on economic growth in Yunnan Province. Using Yunnan Province 2009-2014 data through the three districts of Yunnan Province as a whole and in eastern Yunnan, Central Yunnan, western Yunnan to separately measure, comparison and analysis of the difference of the regional entrepreneurship development, and the economic growth effect of different reasons. Finally, based on the previous research, entrepreneurship and economic growth correlation conclusion, comparative analysis states city entrepreneurship to economic development to promote different effects, according to the actual situation of Yunnan Province, Yunnan, Eastern Yunnan, western regions, from system, culture, entrepreneurship teaching education point of view to explore the reasons, which lead to the difference. To discuss the Countermeasures of promoting the development of entrepreneurship, and put forward the policy suggestions which are conducive to the development of Yunnan’s economy, and provide suggestions for the development of the backward areas in West China.
