A Study On The Impact Of Agglomeration Of Producer Services On Regional Economic Growth

Producer services is a kind of modern services with strong industry`s relevence, it is also a kind of konwledge-and technology-intensive industries with high gathering、high radiating and high employment. Producer services play a important role in boosting regional economic development and increasing regional competition. After the government begins to the new strategy of transfering structure and stimulating growth.Our country`s producer services develops rapidly under the support of the governmnet. The Triangle of Central China as an economic zone of our country, China`s economic development as the “fourth pole”, it is vital to china`s economic development. Needless to say, The producer services of the Triangle of Central China accounting for the GDP increases gradually with the economic development. However, Nowadays there are some problems in the development of the producer services of the Triangle of Central China, such as blindfolding development、lack of planning overall concept, the theroy of planning as a whole, etc. Solving those problem will help promoting the producer services`s structure transforming of the Triangle of Central China, so as to improving the economic development quality.This paper bases on the exterior theory 、 industrial linkage theory and endogenous theory, setting up a unitary analysis framework, as well as the index of producer services agglomeration scale 、 special agglomeration and diversified agglomeration, deeply analysizes the agglomeration mechanism of the producer services of the Triangle of Central China, reveals the working mechanism of the producer services on the regional economic growth.This paper first take the perspective of the increasing returns to scale to analysize the expansion of the producer services agglomeration scale doing good to the regional economic growth; secondly, analysizes the influence of the producer services`s special agglomeration on the regional economic development bases on the Marshall and Porter exterior perspective; lastly, from the perspective of the Jacobs Exteriority to analysize the influence of the producer services`s diversified agglomeration on the regional economic growth. And the analysis results suggests the expansion of the producer services agglomeration scale and agglomeration diversitiy doing good to the regional economic growth, but the agglomeration speciality`s influence on the regional economic development depends on the degree of it, when the level of agglomeration speciality is low, with its increases, doing good to the economic growth; when the level of agglomeration speciality is high, with its increases, doing bad to the economic growth, namely, under the influence of the knowledge exteriority and industrial linkage effection, the manufacturers of the producer services can effectively promote the konwledge spreading and disseminating in one industry or in the different industries, then promotes the development of the regional economy.Secondly, on the basis of the endogenous theory, setting up a econometric model, with structuring panel data OLS model, doing empirical research of the producer services of the 28 cities of the Triangle of Central China on the regional economic growth, and the conclusions suggests that there exists long-term dynamic balanced relationship in the produce services agglomeration scale、speciality and diversity with the city economic growth, the expansion of the producer services agglomeration scale promoting the development of the regional economy, Agglomeration speciality can promote the economic growth in the short term, but in the long run, because of the high speciality, the influence turns to the negative direction. However the the increasing of the agglomeration diversity promotes the regional economic development.
