Research On The Economic Growth Effect Of Producer Services Agglomeration

Tertiarization,economic restructuring and upgrading are the main trends of China's macroeconomic development in recent years.Accelerating the agglomeration development of producer services is an effective way to enhance China's comprehensive competitiveness at this stage.Compared with developed countries,the agglomeration level of producer services in China still has a certain gap,and scholars have different conclusions on the agglomeration economic effect of this industry.Under the above background,this paper tries to study the economic growth effect of producer service agglomeration from various perspectives,to provide theoretical support and policy recommendations for guiding the development of industrial agglomeration scientifically.This paper uses dynamic externalities and endogenous growth theory,adopts literature research,quantitative research and comparative analysis methods to conduct research with the combination of theory and empirical analysis.The mechanism of agglomeration growth is constructed from three aspects: specialized agglomeration,diversified agglomeration and agglomeration scale.The agglomeration level of each province in China from 2003 to 2016 is measured by improved location entropy index,improved HHI index and agglomeration scale index.On the basis of extended C-D production function,dynamic externality and agglomeration scale index are added in the panel modified Multi-equation model to estimate and verify the hypothesis.This paper considers that the overall development trend of specialized agglomeration,diversified agglomeration and agglomeration scale of producer services in recent years is relatively stable,there are certain regional differences between specialized agglomeration and diversified agglomeration;From the national level,specialized agglomeration and agglomeration scale have formed significant economic growth effects,but diversified agglomeration has not yet;From the regional level,eastern,central and western regions have formed significant economic growth effects,but the specific role of three factors in different regions is not same.Based on the above conclusions,this paper holds that,on the basis of attaching great importance to the agglomeration development of producer services at present,the process of industrial agglomeration in different regions should be firmly promoted according to local conditions.
