The study found that, first, the pursuit of Tianjin city industry "big and complete", various industries can not blossom everywhere, highlighting its own characteristics and advantages, but also makes the government investment cannot concentrate to the advantage industry, resulting in waste and inefficient investment of resources, resource allocation cannot achieve "Pareto optimal"; second, compared to Beijing and Tianjin Hebei and Beijing Tianjin Hebei general industry segments, the similarity degree is high, which indicates that the Beijing Tianjin Hebei Industrial Division is not obvious, the industrial similarity means high cannot be formed around the characteristics of the industry, is not conducive to the exchanges and cooperation between regions; third, three of Tianjin industry advantage prominent, Beijing has a comparative advantage in the information clearly technology, accommodation and catering, finance and insurance, fund, technology exploration services, consistent with the overall strategic positioning of Beijing, but still need to consolidate. Potential industry, backward industries obsolete and its function does not match the orientation. Tianjin city in the high-end manufacturing industry have obvious advantages, highlighting the strength of the manufacturing equipment, lay a good foundation for building manufacturing center.
