For a long time, the traditional accounting profit indicators, such as net profit and net assets return, occupy the leading position in the evaluation of the intrinsic value of the enterprise. Along with the continuous development and improvement of China’s capital market, enterprise business environment and the operation mode has happened a huge change, the traditional accounting profit targets less and less able to meet the requirements of the evaluation of the intrinsic value of the enterprise, it is urgent to find a can be more scientific and accurately assess enterprise value of a new index.EVA is the economic value added.1982 formally proposed by the United States SternStewart company, its core philosophy is:an enterprise only in its capital gains over the cost of the capital invested in the acquisition of the proceeds to bring value to shareholders.This paper uses case study method to explore the evaluation of enterprise value based on EVA method. The thesis is divided into four parts, including introduction, EVA concept and its enterprise value assessment theory is applied, based on the method of EVA GeLi Electric appliance enterprise value appraisal case analysis and the conclusion. This article through the calculation of Geli Electric Appliances EVA value, and compared with traditional accounting indexes, reflecting the advantages of EVA enterprise evaluation system, to further promote the EVA value assessment system in the enterprises of our country shall be the theoretical and empirical support.
