CH is a stated owned company, which is focusing on lead and zinc industry with recovering gold, silver, copper, germanium, cadmium, bismuth, antimony and sulfur during the smelting, also a listed company integrating geological exploration, mining, ore dressing, metallurgy, chemical, deep processing, trade and science research, one of recycling economy and resource-conserving and environment friendly pioneer enterprise. Formerly Yunnan Huize Lead-Zinc Mine which was founded in January 1951 as one of 156 key construction projects under the nation’s first five-year plan, Chihong Zn & Ge has grown into an international mining operator group owning 39 subsidiaries in four countries, five provinces, three districts and two cities after six decades’succession and development. In other words, we can say that the growing process made by CH is a miniature of the development of lead and zinc industry in China. This essay’s study follow the principle line that to do research in CH development history, to sum up the pattern of lead and zinc industry development in China, to suggest the development direction of lead and zinc industry under "new normal".This essay analysis the CH development outside environment and lead and zinc industry development background in China and research the cause and pattern of CH development in 7 different historical stages by using corporate lifespan theory, Industrial Competitiveness theory and enterprise growth theory, base on those study to find a better way to lead CH development and make more competitive market development strategy, and also can be a reference and example for other companies in lead and zinc industry.
