Research On The Influence Of Social Responsibility Of Pharmaceutical Enterprises On Financial Performance

In recent years,drug quality and safety are frequent problems.the public companies such pharmaceutical drug quality and safety problems produced a crisis of confidence. The public began to make an urgent appeal that enterprises to actively fulfill the social responsibility,in order to improve the drug quality and safety. With more attention paid to the problem of social responsibility,social responsibility movement in China started late, but development is rapid, many enterprises began to take the initiative to disclose social responsibility report, assessment of social responsibility fulfillment situation. Based on the pharmaceutical companies as the research object,through on the relationship between corporate social responsibility and financial performance is analyzed,prompting companies actively fulfill the social responsibility, to meet the public demand for drug safety and quality.At present,the enterprise should take the initiative to fulfill social responsibility still exist controversy, some scholars think that fulfill the social responsibility will increase spending on enterprise, make enterprise in the industry competition at a disadvantage, but also not conducive to the ascension of the enterprise’s financial performance, more and more scholars to fulfill social responsibility as a kind of investment behavior, social responsibility to enhance the competitiveness of the enterprises. So on the relationship between corporate social responsibility and financial performance is very important to study, essentially improve enterprise to fulfill the social responsibility consciousness. Through the research and development of Chinese literature, think enterprises to actively fulfill the social responsibility helps to improve enterprise’s financial performance.In this paper, based on the stakeholder theory and social contract theory, selection of appropriate social responsibility and financial performance indicators, the index evaluation system of social responsibility. With four years of pharmaceutical companies in 2011-2014 data of listed companies as research samples, using SPSS software to analyze related, build multivariate regression model, the regression test, study of corporate social responsibility and financial performance of the current period of the current period correlation and corporate social responsibility of the current period to lag period, lag phase ii, the lag of the impact of financial performance.The research conclusion of this article show that enterprises to actively fulfill for shareholders, creditors, customers, suppliers, government of significant positive correlation between social responsibility and corporate financial performance, employee profit level and the current enterprise financial performance is significantly negative correlation. Enterprises to fulfill social responsibility of different stakeholders in financial performance for future periods the lag, the lag with the passage of time, the influence degree, there is still a positive role in promoting. Therefore, pharmaceutical enterprises should raise awareness of social responsibility and positive performance of the social responsibility of the various stakeholders, see a problem from the view of development, adhere to the continuous input to the social responsibility, promote enterprise long-term stable development.
