China Income Distribution Research

The individual income distribution is closely related to one' s own interest.The problem of people' s income gap is always one of the hot spots in the economic studies.During the past twenty years or so , China has implemented the policy of reform and opening to the outside. With the development of economy , the form and structure of distribution of Chinese citizens' income have undergone significent changes, especially between different regions, countries and cities, different professions and also within the countries and cities. The income gap problem is growing steadily, which has affected the reproduction of national economy and has arouse a universal discontent, what' s more, it also hamper the construction of our socialist harmonious society to some extent. Factors causing the changes of income distribution include economic, policy and institutional reasons. Some of the reasons are rational while others are irrational.To explore into the issue of current income gap can help us form a consensus and help the leaders make the right decisions.Obviously.it is very important to investigate and analyze the subject on Chinese citizens' income gap at the present stage.In this article, with the aid of basic mordern theories, I emphatically analyze the gap between distribution of people' s leagal income at the time of economic transformation basing on the research results which I have grasped. I also applys the means of comparative analysis as well as the experimental analysis by analyzing the massive statistic datum.This passage is divided into five parts:Part one :Probing into the major theories concerning income distribution, including the meaning of income distribution, theinstitution and principle of income distribution, the index to measure the gap between income distribution and the theory about the influence of income distribution.Part two :With the help of massive statistic datum, analyzing the present characteristic of people' s income growth and the flexible characteristic of income gap.Part three:Analysing the reasons that causing the expansion of income gap between different residents.Part four: Expounding the influence caused by the enlargement of people' s income gap.Part five :Making an appropriate appraisal of current income gap and proposing some countermeasures to reduce the income gap so as to build our socialist harmonious society smoothly.
