In light of the insurance industry update in our country have some outstanding wrong concept of business and management , such as, propaganda misled to the insurance, and market unreasonable competition, unconcern for the value of working stuff and society, not good in working style and good-faith as well, which lead the level of business -management and decrease of profitability of gain of the industry reduce year after year, this paper analyses the reasons from which the above problems arise and points out that our insurance cultural has been to the incorrect way that cause the occurrence of improper concept in the insurance business-management, and held that it is necessary to testify or re-testify the concept of business-management of the insurance industry. Reviewing and commenting on the history of the insurance, this paper also analyzes the essence of the insurance, and indicates that modern insurance is one of the social indemnity system and is not pure commercial relationship of sales-and-purchasing contract, but the mutual relationship built by the most insured cooperatively. The paper presents the right concept that the insurance companies should have in their operation, and points that our insurance industry now is only on a primary stage, saying only when studying insurance though out of the binding of the introduction of the insurance on legal and contract basis, but integrated with economics theory on macroscopic level, can we truly understand nature and holistic concept of insurance, exempt from the influence imposed by market oriented economy system and western idea of pure pursuit of profit, establishing correct insurance operation concept, building up healthy insurance culture, benefiting our community. Finally, this paper proposes many specific amelioration measures into two-sided to solve the above problems concerned: industrial self-discipline and insurance supervision strengthening.
