Study Of The Core Competitiveness Of China's Shipbuilding Enterprises

Shipbuilding industry, which has close relationship with many other industries, is a wide scope of manufacture and an industry with high density of labor, capital and technology. It is usually a representation of one country's manufacture level. Meanwhile it will push the development of country's industrialization and modernization. It is very important to research the Core Competence of China's Shipbuilding Enterprise (CCCSE). And the research will be very helpful to make shipbuilding enterprise of China on the upgrade, push its development and finally push the new industrialization building of the whole country.At first, the thesis review and sum up the development of the core competency of the Corporation and deeply discuss the composing of core competency. Based on the above theory and static data, the CCCSE consists of three factors: environment, resource and capability, which is thoroughly analyzed from the view of shipbuilding's characters and competitive advantage and disadvantage of CCCSE."Management + Name Brand + Innovation = CCCSE"is concluded from the above discussion. Then framework of CCCSE is constructed by the following three key factors: improving the management capacity of the enterprise, forming name brand and technology innovation. Under this framework, the four strategies are provided to foster the CCCSE. According to the four strategies, how to improve the CCCSE is discussed. Finally, the eight detailed measurements for this improvement are fully analyzed.
