In the last twenty years, with the Internet sprung up and prevail in China, life styles have been changed for all Chinese people, especially the citizens. China is currently the second largest country of Internet just inferior to United States;remarkable flourish was once seen at the beginning of this century. On the other hand, new burgeoning industrial and commercial mode brought forth Experience Economy, which, coming right after traditional marketing means, became the future competition pattern. In the global context, user experience centered innovation is emerging. Thus as a center of worldwide innovation, China is facing both chances and challenges. All these lead to this paper, which studies the Experience Innovation in the specific setting: the Internet Industry in China.This research aims at exploring the benchmark constitution of the user experience and the factors influencing it, also on basis of which further issue was discussed about how user experience influences Experience Innovation project performance. After mass research over the literature, the paper proposed a new metrics for measuring the performance of experience innovation project and user experience based on Internet, did analysis on the factors that influence the user experience, and tried to establish a relationship model among the influencing factors, the user experience and the project performance. The study leverages questionnaire as the main research means which involves leaders or participants of Internet innovation projects of various types and scales.Considering the state-of-art of current Chinese Internet Enterprises, the paper proposed a new relationship model, clearly reflecting the internal mechanisms of how the 8 factors, which namely are, senior management and technical support, enterprise's recognition of user experience (corresponding personnel and customer community management), application of customer relationship management tools, design of specific front-end contents, visual design, resource support from both enterprise market strategy and exterior, project personnel configuration and organization culture, combine to influence user experience (including educational, entertainment, aesthetic and social customer experiences), and how user experience influences experience innovation project performance. Furthermore, based on this model, the study gave suggestions on how local Internet enterprise can improveexperience innovation project performance and perspectives of future works.
