Ethics Of Academic Responsibility

As a special practice activity for human beings, Academic Research is an objective activity to discover the truth by knowledge, methods and experiences which are available. Its mission is to promote the society improvement through recognizing and catching things' nature and regular pattern. That Academic activity serves for society better and confirms the 'responsibility's' status in academic activity are very important. Lack of academic responsibility has already had a bad affection in the negative. Although it is not effectual, punishment by law or other social mechanism would be a most ideal method. Only has academic behavior body a right cognition to academic responsibility, they could form a strong responsibility to academic career, others and society; they could choose behaviors which is good in academic activity.This article, mainly supported by ethics, demonstrated theoretically by using philosophy, pedagogy, psychology, etc. Research and exploration are carried on academic responsibility from four parts by applying special methods in ethics that is value analysis and judge to moral phenomena.In the first part, it states the basic connotations of Responsibility and Academic responsibility. Special academic responsibility is determined to be the research object of this article. Base on these, we demonstrate the main content of Academic responsibility in detail from four aspects: career responsibility, morality responsibility, society responsibility and law responsibility.In the second part, we had a good grasp in whole to Academic Responsibility by using ethics theory. Moral problem which is related to academic responsibility is confirmed from the real and goodness, self-discipline and discipline by others, the spirit of moral practice and collectivistic principle.
