| Before 1980s, the organizational structure of financial supervision had been a hot topic in area of government and theory. The change bases on the swiftly developed tide of financial liberalization and globalization. The fast growth of diversification in finance system has challenged the tradition of separated regulation agencies. Influenced by many factors, there are many different combinations between organizational structure of financial supervision and financial management system: Separated operation- Organ structure of separated supervision, Separated operation- Organ structure of integrated supervision, mixed-operation- Organ structure of separated supervision, mixed-operation- Organ structure of integrated supervision, and their efficiency are also different. In this dissertation, the author discusses the question from several aspects.Firstly, the author defines what a Financial Supervision and organizational Structure of Financial Supervision is.Secondly, the author analyze the mainly deals with the organizational Structure of Financial Supervision. The supporters argue that: one integrated supervision authority can gain the profits of economies of scale and scope and avoid the supervision and regulation conflicts and overlaps; it can also improve the competitive equalities in financial market with a more consistent regulatory rules. The arguments against the integration of the supervisory agencies are also strong: the profits gaining from economies of scale and scope can be lost in many aspects; the internalization of the supervision conflicts can cause the deviation from the social optimum; Then through Empirical Study find that it seemed to be a trend to set up Organ structure of integrated supervision.Thirdly, the author reviews the development of organizational Structure of Financial Supervision across the various countries around the world and factors that effect the development.
