In the modern corporate system, the separation of property ownership rights and operation powers, resulting in the corresponding commissioning relations of enterprise management. And such relations need to be standardized and regulated by the accepted binding balance system. Equity structure is the basis for enterprise governance institutions, and corporate performance depends on its management structure. Thus, the equity structure and corporate performance are closely related.Equity structure includes equity ownership and equity concentration. The relationship between two main aspects of Equity structure and the operation performance is the main topic of the thesis.Our listed companies are mostly converted from the original state-owned enterprises, so, whether in equity ownership and equity concentration, our equity structure are rather special and with different characteristics concerning with the mature markets of developed countries. The current reform of equity in China is in the critical stage, so, it is crucial to make a decision on what kind of ownership structure of corporate governance is the most reasonable to have a positive impact on the corporate performance.There is some relationship between the corporation equity structure and the corporation operation performance. The relationship is positive or negative, which means Shareholding structure will play a role with its positive or negative impact on the performance. Does the conclusion still work In China?
