New Rural Old-age Security Model To Explore

Nowadays , with the increasing intensification of old aging ,aging security problem becomes more and more the global issues . China, which has the largest Population, is the country that has the largest aging Population in the world. With the coming of new century , China has already fallen in the old aging society. Therefore ,aging security has become a problem which is of vital importance to the nation's economy and the people's livelihood. China owns 22% of the population of the world , among them , 60% is farmer or so . The trend of rural old aging is especially obvious because of the intensification of industrialization and urbanization ,the implementation of rural family plan and the prolongation of average life .The absolute amount of rural elders is large as well as the degree and speed of rural old aging are higher than the urban ,which brings great pressure to the rural .Therefore ,the emphasis and difficulty of Chinese aging security are in the rural areas at present and for the future .Now the pattern in which aging security is based mainly on family and subsidiarily on society is still insisted on in the rural areas .However, with the intensification of old aging and the development of market-economy, traditional family aging security system has been strongly stroken and challenged .The function of family elder security has been weakened ,but the construction of society aging security system walks with difficulty in the rural areas . In view of these , it is urgent to explore a new rural aging security system in the new situation. So , when constructing a new rural aging security pattern, based on the current situation of our country ,I work out short-range goals and medial-long ideal targets . We should actively take efficient transitional measures on the basis of stabilizing the rural family elder security to realize the targets of equal aging security in urban and rural areas .
