Rural Economic Development In Tibet, Under The Conditions Of Market Economy

Since Tibet municipality come into existence, farmers' economic income has been increasing, standard of living has been improving. We congratulate vast achievement that Tibetan economy has gained. At the same time we should realize that now Tibetan region is still behindhand comparatively, farmers' community as a whole is poverty relatively when comparing Tibet with other areas.Because special geography, history, politics and so on, now the emphasis and difficulty in Tibetan development is to implement agricultural leapfrog development as soon as possible.For many years Tibet is always emphasis in central government area aid. Running of all economic branches achieves allowance. So that some scholars and some officials judge it is difficulty to form market economy in Tibet. But by market economic theory and practice, market economy will extend to each corner sooner or later in any uniform nation or region.
