The insufficient household consumption demand has been a problem restricting the economic growth in china since middle period of 1990s. The consume rate has been descending since 1982, even less than 60% after 2000 which is less than the standard of 70%( which Chenery proposed). The consume rate is above 65% in those east Asian countries which having high save rate. The household consume rate in china dropped from 47% in 1996 to 43% in 2003, less than the standard of 61% (which Chenery proposed) .The low consume rate reduces the chance of investment greatly . The insufficient consumption keeps saving from transforming to investment. The economic growth lacks motive force. The government has taken multiple measures to encourage household consumption, but the results aren't satisfying. Exploring the basic factors influencing household consumption behavior is necessary to solve the problem of insufficient household consumption demand.During economy transition period, China is transiting from socialist planned economy stage to market economy, but the system is still not perfect. Household consumers' anticipation about uncertainty is increasing continuously and precautionary saving drops progressively. While analyzing the influence of liquidity constraint on household consumption during china economy transition, the existence of liquidity constraint is affirmed at first. After analyzing the function mechanism of liquidity constraint, a fact is found that household consumers' long-term deposit mode isn't the result of liquidity constraint. So the influence of liquidity constraint on the household consumer behavior is not...
