Liangshan in Sichuan province is abundant in waterpower resource, water energy resource theoretical gross of the Prefecture reach 71,000,000kW,accounting for about 10.5% of the theoretical storage of all the country and 13.1% of the developable hydropower potential of all the country. Water energy resource theoretical gross of the Liangshan Prefecture exceed, the water energy resource theoretical gross of the Prefecture of Yichang in Hubei province——"the big city of hydropower"(the developable hydropower potential has 26,000,000kW), and the water energy resource theoretical gross of the Prefecture of Ganzi in Sichuan province(the developable hydropower potential reach 37,000,000kW),the modulus of water energy resource in the Liangshan Prefecture is 1181 kW / sq.km.. Though the land of the Prefecture of Liangshan only accounts for 6‰of the all the country , water energy resource theoretical gross of the Prefecture reaches about 10.5% of the theoretical storage of all the country and 13.1% of the developable hydropower potential of all the country. It is supposed that we exploited the all developable hydropower potential of the Prefecture of Liangshan, annual energy output should be over 297 billion Kw.h, then the annual average power consumption should be 230 Kw.h to every Chinese, and according to the shadow electric price of Ertan Hydroelectric Plant, Three Gorges Hydropower Station and other Hydropower Station, the annual energy output will bring 74,000,000,000 yuan industries production value for the Prefecture of Liangshan annually. In the future, nine big, gigantic and over-gigantic Hydropower Stations(over mega Kw.h every station) will be built in the Prefecture of Liangshan, the installed gross capacity of those Hydropower Stations will reach 50,600,000kW.
