China's Economic Structure Adjustment And Urbanization Of The Interaction Between Research,

China is now in an important historic period of economic and social structure transformation. At present, the problems occur in the economic and social development in China result mostly from the non-synchronization of the economic structure transformation with the social structure transformation. Understanding the interactive relationships between the economic structure adjustment and the urbanization is necessary not only for the theoretical study, but also for the modernization practice. This paper aims at exploring the interactive relationships and the interactive principles between the economic structure adjustment and the urbanization and carries out the study in combination with the modernization practice in China. The elaboration can be divided into four parts.The first part (the first chapter) introduces the significance, the basic train of thoughts and the major methods of the study of this paper. The existing study achievements are briefly summarized; the connotations of the economic structure, the economic structure adjustment and the urbanization are defined; the historic progress and major problems of the urbanization in China are reviewed and analyzed. The author believes that the economic structure adjustment is that, on the basis of taking full advantages of the market principle, to satisfy the demand of the economic and social development, the government adopts the "visible hand" to adjust the supply proportions of the production factors such as labor, capital and natural resources in the different departments or areas; the urbanization is a evolution progress of the economic structure and social structure.The second part (the second, third and fourth chapters) cuts in from the status, basic features and the existing problems of the three composition parts of the economic structure adjustment in China, namely, the industrial structure adjustment, the regional economic structure adjustment and the urban-rural economic structure adjustment, to establish the theoretical models of three groups of interactive relationships between the industrial structure adjustment and the urbanization, between the regional economic structure adjustment and the urbanization, and between the urban-rural economic structure adjustment and the urbanization;...
