Research On Industrial Structure Adjustment And Development Of Modern Urban

Until the end of2011, the urban population has reached691million, it is the first time that the urbanization level of China exceeded50%, reached to51.27%. Urban Development reached a new stage. It benefit from rapid development of urban economy and tremendous capacity to absorb new urban population along with the development of urban industry since reform and opening especially nearly15years. However, Urbanization and Urban Development are facing new challenges with the change of the international economical situation and population structure in urban and rural areas in China after Global Financial Crisis.Although the urbanization level of China has reached51.27%, it still exists problems in the course of urbanization, for examples, urban development long-time lag industrialization, the price of the basic social service is pretty high, deficiency of aggregation on producer service and so on. Industrial structure evolution can promote urban development. The adjustment and optimization of industrial stmcture promote urban development through agglomeration effect. Leading industry play part in urban development through the income, distribution, radiation constantly, Industrialization becomes deep processing and intensive constantly, the Tertiary Industry separates from the primary industry and the secondary industry gradually, meanwhile, production factors evolve from labor intensive to capital intensive, knowledge intensive and technology intensive. In this process, urban function enhances gradually, employment status improves steadily, the level of urban development further improves.This paper reviewed the literature, using previous research achievements and research methods for reference, it analyzed the association ways of industrial structure and urbanization and the effect mechanism between industrial structure and urban development. Then taking Shandong Province for example, on the base of analyzing the relationship between proportion of three-industry output value, employment and urbanization level in Shandong Province, we do an empirical analysis by using Augmented Dickey-Fuller Test, Co integration Test, Granger causality test, Impulse Response Function with the date between1948to2010as sample. With the empirical analysis, the industrial structure and the urban development does exist certain relevance. In the end of this dissertation, putting forward some suggestions on realize coordinative development of modern urban by industrial structure adjustment, such as promoting the coordinative development of urban development and the secondary and tertiary industry.
