Analysis Of The International Competitiveness Of China's Modern Service Industry

In the world, modern service industry becoming the important engine of the national economic growth, is a main impetus that makes the modern economy keep on developing quickly. Analyzing the related theories about modern service industry and the competitive ability, and comparing the development of modern service industry in our country with other countries, this paper sets up an evaluation system and evaluates the international competitive ability of modern service industry of our provinces by means of DEA method. The study result of this paper shows that our modern service industry drops behind other developed countries and there is an obvious difference among regions. It present that the competitive ability of west is weaker than east and the development of modern service industry unbalances. The article put up with some measures to improve the international competitive ability of modern service industry such as making use of the government function, optimizing the structure of industry and district, paying attention to persons with ability, carrying out a strategy of 'bringing in, going out' etc. Through evaluating the international competitive ability of modern service industry and advising to take the related measures, this paper is important to the healthy development of modern service industry and the improvement of the national competition.
