With the promoting of the national real-estate system and the development of the reform of the financial system, our commercial banks were launching into personal real-estate loan business as a new profit-increasing factor in 1998. After the fast progress of recent years, the personal real-estate loan business is now in heavy risk. It is an essential request to keep the business growing healthy that commercial banks should recognize, control, manage, divert and transfer the personal real-estate loan's risks.This essay starts with the situation of our personal real-estate loan's risks and analyzes the personal real-estate loan's risk management frame and methods of foreign commercial banks. The essay explores the building of our commercial banks'risk management system and outside circumstance.In Part one, the essay analyzes the risk types and causes which our personal real-estate loan business is now confronted with. The essay also analyzes the status in quo of our personal real-estate loan risk management and the risk management problems of the inside controlling institutions, operating process and management technique.In Part two, the essay introduces the risk management frame of foreign commercial banks, including risk management regulations, risk management pattern and risk management structures.
