At present, the shortage of resources, environmental pollution and ecological deterioration are becoming the major problems for all the countries in the world. And the conflicts caused by the economic development, resource utilization and environmental protection are becoming a big issue that all the countries have to face. With the climate changing and global warming effect, global glaciers are receding and sea-level is rising up, humans are facing severe challenges of their existence. Under the influence of human activities, natural resources has emerged signs of decline. Due to the natural resource decline and environmental degradation, the survival and development of resources such as glaciers, water and so on, is in a serious threat. This situation urgently shows that we should make more efforts to give high priority over natural resources and environmental protection both in theory and in practice. It is no exaggeration to say that whether the natural resources, such as glaciers can play the role of sustainable development in the future, in the tourism industry, and in the regulation of climate, mainly depends on whether the protection of natural resources and the environment can truly implement,which is a far way to go.Dagu glaciers are the most ancient glaciers of the eastern margin of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Dagu glaciers are the late quaternary glaciations of the central area of the modern mountain glaciers, which are also the closet one to the centre city, with the largest and lowest elevation of the modern world mountainous glaciers. According to he concept of sustainable development, this thesis aims to combine and coordinate important scientific research value the concept of sustainable development, through the evaluation of characteristics of the natural resources of ancient glaciers, the higher taste of natural resources, with the level of comparative advantage; Under the climate changing, global warming and glacier's deglaciation circumstance, this thesis also displays five suitable theories for the sustainable development of the ancient glacier by analyzing greenhouse effect of ancient glaciers has become extremely fragile ecological environment; the ozone layer affect it; acid rain over the ancient glacier erosion on the ecological environment. The theories are reducing carbon emissions, developing low-carbon economy; improving the business climate science and technology; strengthening of the ecological environment of ancient glaciers, reducing and controlling of environmental pollution; strengthening environmental monitoring side, preparing disaster prevention and mitigation, development of security contingency plans; strengthening environmental education and management people.
