The Structure And Application Of Symmetrical Design

The symmetric design is a specialized design to identify the symmetry of system function, and this design theory is based on the symmetric group and framework theory proposed by reference[4]. the main purpose of this paper is to introduce the symmetric design and its application based on the symmetric framework theory. Generally, the orthogonal design can more effectively solve the experimental design without interaction effects between factors than the design with higher interaction effects. But the symmetric design can solve the design with higher interaction effects. First, this paper introduces the definition and its natures based on the symmetric group theory, and propose the construction methods of single-orbit and multi-orbit symmetric framework to prove the existence of symmetric framework. Based on it, through the practical example, we can verify that the symmetric design is better to solve the experimental design with higher order interaction effects than that of the orthogonal design.
