Based on analysing the application of furan resin-sand,casting process parameter and CAE of casting technology, the manufacturability and production feasibility of large ductile iron casting-YBL220'body was multianalysised.lt established a whole set of production process for the body of mint embossing press by using advanced theoretical knowledge and individual research on process design,mould design,tooling design,search parameters,verification of CAE of casting technology and melting.According to the production process, Nan Jing mint corporation successfully produces the large ductile iron casting-YBL220'body.In China, the kind of casting just can be produced in our company. By the end of June 2010, the metalworking of main body has been basically realized. The results show that the YBL220'body produced with autonomous process design completely comes up to design requirement for High dimensional accuracy which is up to 10 degree. The material quality of casting comes up to QT400 and has homogeneous interior tissue and good cutting performance.Any defect such as sand explosion,contraction cavities,shrinkage porosity and crack has not been founded in the casting.Roughness is above Ra25 so un-machining surface is even and smooth,dimesional tolerance is above GTS in GB6414-86, gewichts differenz is above MTS in GB/T11351-89.
