In the aluminum extrusion process, due to the billet, die, extrusion technology and other factors, the surface profile will inevitably have to produce dense, shades, and the mechanical lines throughout the profile (model profile), and thus affect the quality of aluminum products. Generally speaking the mechanical lines is hard to removel .even if they can reduce,but the efficiency of the production is very low. Many companies in order to eliminate the mechanical lines of aluminum surface, they taken off with a base of aluminum etching method to obtain uniform surface quality during the process of production.However, the law not only the surface profile has lost its luster, and has reduced the profile structure, mechanical properties, and increased production costs, especially for the oxidation of the production line management and pollution control is inconvenient. So in this article,we presents a new process, which can both the elimination of aluminum surface mechanical lines totally, but also ensures that aluminum has a high surface finish and flatness. The process of this research is composed of the following two processes.The first step is based on the acidic system which mainly include NH4F and HBF4 ,and then put the solution at a certain temperature with a certain amount of surfactant Tx-10,and the put the aluminum alloy parts into the solution.Through this pickling process,wo will remove the mechanical lines of the aluminum alloy surface mostly,and the roughness of aluminum surface will be increased, But the rough surface increases the capacity of surface absorb the slurry and conducive to following an abrasive process, the workpiece and the contact area between the polishing solution, and ultimately to achieve the purpose of leveling the surface.After the process we will have a measure with the surface roughness,metal weight loss,microhardness,morphology and the surface element with the appropriate tools.The second step is we will study on the new type of vibration slurry for aluminum, we will choose the suitable non-ionic surfactant and anionic surfactant for polishing the surface of aluminum alloy,and with a certain amount of corrosion inhibitor, brightener, PH stabilizer and the consumer foam agent.And then we will do the mass finishing test with the self-made slurry.After polishing ,we will have a measurment of the roughness,hardness,brightness and the element of the surface,and observe the microstructure of the workpiece's surface through SEM.And we find that the mechnical lines on the surface of workpiece have been disappeared.The surface is more brighter and exquister.Through a largr amount of date of mass finishing ,we will optimize the parameters such as the sclection of abrasive,polishing time,the density of slurry and frequency of motor during polish process,and achieve the best polish process for aluminum, Finally we discussed the mechanism of chemical accelerated aluminum alloy vibration polish.And the mechanism is also divided into two parts,the first part is increasing the roughing of surface by pickling,meanwhile romove the mechnical lines of the surface,the second part is polishing the part after pickling through mass finishing.The innovation of this subject is that we present a new process of removing mechnical lines from aluminum surface, the character of the process is hight speed,not limitted by size and shape,low labor intensity, and less pollution to the environment.
