Global Climate Problems And Sino-American Climate Diplomacy

With further development of industrialization and technology, and the growth of human ability of transforming nature, the impact on the global climate is increasingly significant. The problems of climate change, not only influence human survival environment, meanwhile, have become an important issue in the field of international politics, pose a challenge to national security and international relationship, so climate diplomacy also become the contemporary hot spot during the international relationship.Climate diplomacy has its special connotation and meaning, all participants in the subject of climate control between the diplomacy activities can be regarded as climate diplomacy component parts, this article mainly studies the climate change positions and behaviors in the global climate governance actions from the view of sovereign nations.China and American, as the world's largest developing countries and the only superpower, along with the development of the country, had been caused a series of crisis by climate change, climate change become the important factor that influences economic and safety. Both of the two governments made climate change policies, adopted governance actions, participated in the global climate diplomatic activities,.and played an important influential role in climate diplomacy. Because of Sino-American greenhouse gas cumulative emissions is 40% of the world total emissions, the two countries' climate change policies and positions on global climate diplomatic and climate governance played an important influential role in climate diplomacy.This article summarizes the impact of climate change, the generation and evolution of global climate problems, expounds the meaning and the roughly process of global climate diplomatic, and analyzes the main behavior bodies' position and issues. And then the article discusses the bilateral respective policy position, analysis the consensus, the differences and the diplomatic international political reason between China and American. Finally the article prospects the necessity and feasibility and puts forward suggestions on Sino-U.S. climate cooperation, proposes my own thinking for China's future climate foreign strategic positioning.
