| The studies of absorbent were carried out on the activated carbon prepared from walnut shell, activated by ZnCl2, K2CO3. The factors (impregnating time, microwave power, microwave radiation time, the materials ratio) during the preparation, which affect the adsorption properties and the yield of activated carbon were discussed and the technological conditions were optimized.The processing optimum conditions on preparation for walnut shell activated carbon with activation method of ZnCl2 solution chemical were obtained, which was the ratio of ZnCl2 to walnut shell is 2.5:1, microwave power 600 W, microwave radiation time 7 min, the impregnation time 24 h, the iodine value was 648.1 mg/g, the yield of the product was 39.7 %, the specific surface area was 608.9 m2/g.The processing optimum conditions on preparation for walnut shell activated carbon from with chemical activation method of mixture of ZnCl2 and K2CO3 were obtained , which was the ratio of mixture to walnut shell is 2:1, microwave power 600 W, microwave radiation time 7 min, the impregnation time 24 h, the iodine value was 1 073.9 mg/g, the yield of the product was 29.3 %, the specific surface area was 1 003.8 m2/g.Use the activated carbon to absorb BPA in the potable water, the factors such as, the adsorption time, pH, shaking speed, temperature and so on, which will impact the adsorption have been investigated. The BPA adsorption isotherm was also discussed. The result showed that the adsorption to BPA of the activated carbon which activated by mixture of chemical agents was better than the activated carbon activated by single zinc chloride, meanwhile also better than commercial activated carbon. |
